The Prayer Print - Palestine Forever Fundraiser

$25.00

Text:

I pray for peace in me, for peace in you, for peace in every soul that walks this crooked earth searching for delight in it anyway.

I pray for a garden in my backyard full of tomatoes, and green beans, and strawberries, plenty to share.

I pray for the patience to mend my socks, to sew on buttons, to reach for the back of the drawer first.

I pray for many pots of soup.

I pray for the tears to keep on coming, to feel the ache in my throat. I pray that as it hurts, I look into eyes that meet mine and are not afraid.

I pray for cold calls and drop-ins, so that there is no time for me to find a costume. I pray for the willingness to see and be seen.

I pray for abundance and realize I already have it.

I pray for kindred spirits, for those I have yet to meet, for those I will never meet.

I pray for the bombs to stop dropping, I pray for trees to grow again.

I pray for thousands of beings stolen in greed. I pray for those survived by them, but I don’t know what to say.

I pray to never again serve a golden god, although I know I will.

I pray for forgiveness.

I pray for peace in me, for peace in you, and the recognition that resistance is the means.
